Oregonian indie alt-country folk band Blitzen Trapper shouldn’t need much of an introduction beyond just trying to catalogue them into a genre. Having just described them as an indie alt-country folk band, I think you know what you’re getting yourself into. For me, the best attribute of the band are their lyrics. They can be poignant, clever, and damned catchy.
They can also be a little dark, getting into eerily detailed description of a serial killer on the loose…
I’m hoping the show will be pretty good, which with their plethora of indie acoustics on a hopefully sunny afternoon in the Parc, is pretty likely.
